There has never been, and most likely never will be, anybody who can compare with Elvis Presley. He took the planet by storm for a cause – and it’s something extremely hard to copy.

From the shaking hips, to the slicked black hair, pouty lips, and that soothing voice, he was indeed an extraordinary being.

He made his TV debut way back in 1956 with an outstanding performance of “Shake, Rattle and Roll” on the CBS variety program Stage Show. It was during that period of time that more traditional TV hosts insisted that they would not invite Presley onto their own shows. Not surprisingly, that didn’t last long. His talent and charm were definitely unquestionable. Rejecting Elvis was like rejecting popular culture in those days. I mean, come one, check out those dance moves – there wasn’t any way to stop him!

And who could forget about his other major hits. “Blue Suede Shoes”, “Jailhouse Rock”, and “Hound Dog” are just a couple of them.

But, hands down, one of Presley’s most delicate songs is “Can’t Help Falling In Love.” We have seen a lot of covers, it’s showed up in an extreme number of movies, and, I’m positive, many more weddings than one could imagine. It’s simply that type of song. However, there’s absolutely nothing that can compare to the original.

Presley first performed this song in the 1961 film, Blue Hawaii, and there hasn’t been a better version ever since.
